On September 10th and 11th REACH Memphis held their annual Interest Meetings at Christian Brothers University. At the interest meetings, students from all over the city came together to learn about the opportunities at REACH Memphis. They got to meet the REACH staff, the LeadOne Communications Council, and the Student Executive Board. Many alumni, parents, and mentors came out to both of these nights . The night was student driven from beginning to end! The events were MC’d by Kiarston Blackman, included discussion about college counseling from Jada Wilder and about our mentors from Zoe Spikner and Johanna Olvera. Also, summer experiences were discussed by Myles Robinson. Ms. Pamela Jackson summed the night up by getting the students ready to apply through the online application on our new website. Students will be notified of their acceptance by November 8th.
