the 2023 REACH Memphis application process.

Once you begin to complete the online application, you must finish the process.
You cannot save a partially completed form and return to it later.
Instructions:
1. Complete EACH field in the online application. (Link above)
2. Cut and paste a 350-to-500 word essay into the essay template. The essay should address the following topic:
"Describe a challenge you have faced and how it impacted you. What did you learn? How have you changed because of it?"
3. Review and ensure that your application and essay are complete.
4. Click DONE. When the page refreshes, you will see the following message: Thank you. Your files have been received.
5. Ask your parents to submit copies of their 2022 W-2 and 1040 forms to REACH Memphis by September 30th. YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT COMPLETE WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION.

We are excited that your child is applying to participate in REACH Memphis. Since 1969, our college readiness programs have helped high-achieving students in Shelby County to succeed in high school, college and beyond.
1.Please click below to access the form that must be completed by a parent or guardian as part of each student's application to REACH Memphis.
2. Please click below to submit copies of your 2022 W-2 and 1040 forms by September 30, 2023, or directly email copies to info@reachmemphis.org. REMOVE SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS AND/OR TAX ID NUMBERS PRIOR TO SUBMISSION. The application is not complete without this information.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If filing taxes separately, parents should submit individual 2022 W-2 and 1040 forms. If filing jointly, parents may submit one 2022 W-2 and 1040 form.
